I just got out of prison a few months ago and I got the newsetter and a bunch of pen pals from here. When I got out they gave me money and sent me a box of stuff like shampoo and some clothes. I’m still in touch with a lot of my pen pals and I’m still reading several of the books that were sent to me. It was really nice to have the kind of support that nobody else offered. Even my case manager thinks they are great and they wrote a letter to my probation officer to help me get my kids back. I want to pay them back but they said to pay ot forward. What a great idea.
