About Alert Ministries
Mission Statement:
ALERT Ministries Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to serving high-risk youth in the Dallas community who have experienced incarceration, sex-trafficking and other forms of hardship by providing Christ-centered life skills programs focused on meeting girls and boys where they are at in their rehabilitation.
Our Motivation:
Those who support ALERT Ministries have a heart for high-risk and sex-trafficked youth but we believe that our unity has an even greater significance. Ultimately what brings us together is Christ Jesus and what He has done for us on the cross.

Every Tuesday we provide a faith-based life skills program to girls in juvenile detention between the ages of 12 and 17. The goal is to provide a safe environment where girls will learn life skills, their worth and idenity in Jesus Christ and know that there are women who will walk alongside them in their recovery.

Robot Wars Project
Every Thursday we take a computer programming class into juvenile detention that teaches kids how to code and operate small robots. In this class kids learn basic syntax, key words, programming concepts, how the environment works, what it means to compile, upload & run a program, etc. Each robot consists of an Arduino-compatible microcontroller, a Pololu Zumo-bot and a Sharp distance sensor.
Thanksgiving meal to all 300 kids, between the ages of 10 and 17, and 50 staff members at the Henry Wade Juvenile Detention Center.
We are in the process of recreating and organizing the library at the Letot Center. The Letot Center provides emergency shelter for high-risk and sex-trafficked youth in Dallas.
